IGNITION is our latest project to launch from IGNITE Movement and is a response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Like many organisations and charities from across the UK our day to day and weekly schedule looks very different now, and has led to a shift of focus now to a more virtual online presence. Our social media pages have seen an increased demand over lockdown, as we have supported young people who are struggling with issues such as anxiety, stress, loneliness and bereavement.

IGNITION is a virtual youth event, which we launched during the first Lockdown, aimed at young people aged 11-16yrs from across the Tyne & Wear area. Each stream features exclusive live performances, special guests, theme based discussions, various prizes & giveaways and our senior youth workers were available in a fully moderated and safe chat feed alongside the stream. These sessions wouldn't have been possible without the funding which we received from the Community Fund to help us grow this vital work during lockdown.
